These dimensions are about right I will measure the board and let you know exactly. I actually have 2 boards one a little longer than the other.
For learning a slightly longer board may be an advantage but once you have it mastered the board size is not really important I did make a board that was just the length of my stance, cut off right in front of the strap, works fine if you can start directly onto the foil.

Yeah Holokai!

It is so much more fun to ride on a shorter board.

I ride a 120 x 45 Board nowadays and it is so much more handy.

A little bit longer than your stance so you can get a bit of scoop in the nose helps when the chop is high as it prevents the nose from digging which makes it a little bit more forgiving.

Nice looking board. It looks like the tail is narrowed in. Is it?

Hi Ronnie,

The Flat Outline of the Board is actually symmetrical. The Nose and Tail thin out, but not all too much.

Here are some better pics of the Board:

The Deck has a W Concave like Downhill Longboards. This is really great for Strapless riding as you can really dig your feet into the spine in the middle of the board.

You should see the next experiment I am making. Twice the Volume, same Length and Width.

I'm shaping a board now and like your board's lines. Sounds like your going higher volume same size, so thicker i take it. How thick? I'm thinking im gonna be just under 2" at the thickest point when done, approx 48"x 20" outline.

Hi Dude,

My new board will be 8cm thick (so 3.14 inches). The Black board is 2 inches exactly.
