Recommended Foil for racing?

Postby andrewkiter » Fri Oct 18, 2013 7:12 pm

I'm thinking about switchinf from race boards to foil.
Which foil are competitive for racing aside of the Sword by Taaro?
Maybe something more affordable?
Also can you put insert to a surfboard for foil and race?
Bryan Lake uses his T-9 skimboard and he finished 2 in California state champs
Anybody selling a Sword?
Cheers

I dont think you can find anything "more affordable" and just as competitive, sorry to say.

But some of the very competitive ones, are Taaroa (sword), and Spotz, and Zeeko Race.

The Spotz has a nice feature in that it disassembles into smaller pieces than some of the others. I appreciate a product that can be conveniently fit into a normal surfboard bag. I wish more manufacturers would think of this.

Not sure if these are race foils, but some really nice pack down and carrying:
