Yeah nice vid. Very smooooooth style.

Thanks for the compliments man! My riding style is def different than most. I'm trying to get out there, but not by doing what everyone else is doing (strictly handle-passes and strapless in the surf), but by expressing myself on the water through doing whatever feels right and comes natural like inverted flips and spins, crowd pleasing oldschool big airs, and low to the water tricks. I also ride strapped (not strapless) in the waves, I have a kitesurfing wave video coming out soon.

You know what Danny that is how most of the crew I ride with, ride.

Freeride at it's best. I loved the vid, reminded me of our sessions here, with all of us cracking out those moves and having a blast.

I reckon there is more riders doing what you do that is given credit for, but the unhooked handle pass and strapless SB promotional stuff gives a distorted picture of what most are doing.

Oh yeh I am also on the dice this year, perfect for 'our' style and other 4 riders I ride with!

I guess where i live, in Cape Hatteras, you have the whole "boots and handlepass" scene because of the triple S comp and Real, as well as the whole "lose the straps, go strapless" scene that's out there as well.

Same same mate. If you are not unhooking or going strapless on a SB then you are less advanced where I live. I'm cool with that because we have bucket loads of fun! I still unhook a bit and sometimes ride strapless but in the end, having a laugh with my mates trying new stuff hooked in (especially when you mess up) is where we find our nirvana.
