Not sure I understand how one can "clinch" the board, without holding it (like the "no handle" and waveboard) - but as you show here, it seems to be possible maybe relatively easy

The only time it is needed though, is when someone is "washed ashore" typically, or got a defect of some kind (or beginners of course).
But this happens now and then, so great to see these "hints" about how to
If you are powered, and can control the kite with one hand - easy.
But when you need two hands on the bar, to get going - it is NOT that easy...
