Supaez- it got to the point where i feel bad for ppl that "ON / OFF ON / OFF" every time . So much so to the point i went out and bought enough bars to match my kites (2 additional). this saves 5-10 minutes overall each session. Pretty substantial when u only get to kite for an hour or 2 at a time ...

:thumb:....... 5-10 minutes x average 15 sessions a month x 12 months x 14 years equals =
.......................................12600-25200 minutes = 210-420 hours = 8.75-17.5 days !!.............................

That's a lot of sessions missed and time wasted doing that on/off/on /off thing IMO

Additional bar/lines are great Birthday and Christmas gift ideas...
....buy some for your wife / girlfriend if she kites...and share the gift...
....and if she doesn't kite ......let her buy it for you !!

:happybirthday:

Must be nice to live somewhere where the wind is always blowing... but it must suck that the only time you can spend at the beach is riding time. :naughty:

There is nice article from Omsk (middle Syberia) about folding, unfolding and drying with bar attached for foil and LEI. Unfortunately it is in Russian, but pictures and google translator will help.
http://omskiteboarding.ru/news/podgotov ... -12-06-169

I personaly deattach lines during summer due to easie handling and packing while traveling. And some time keep line attached at winter when temperature are stable below zero and no need to dry my kites (I store them at not heated garage).
Also it is much less borring to walk 2 times with lines on grass or sand instead of deep snow or ice. :)

With the time change just around the corner many of you will wish you kept your lines on..always
I just don't buy the excuse that it is because of the additional cost
I think it is because you haven't taken the time to learn how to master that technique

Myself coming from a Foil background on which lines are always kept on...
...i have applied the same principle to all my tube kites

Your session on Sunday Nov 3rd will be reduced by one hour
And on Monday after you get off work saving those 5-10 minutes rigging becomes real important

To each his own i guess......................but the darkness is on it's way
Make every minutes count :thumb:
