I just replaced a 7, 9 mtr Obsession quiver with Vegas 2013 9 and 11 mtr and is great. The range is about 12 or 14 knots all the way over 30, I live in Brasil so haven't really tested the low end so much but I just love the whole set up.

Jbrook thanks for your input. Is the 11m slow?

i think i'll go with 11-8 combo

Another thing, how bad is the relaunch?

In enough wind easy - just a little patience while it drifts to the window, otherwise pull about a meter of 5th line to get it almost on its back / always faster this way. It requires some work to get it into the water in the first place.

Lol, its funny to see people cry how bad relaunch of C-shapes is. With 5th line it's damn easy - torch/vegas/whatever - just use 5th line. If you are pulling just the steering line - your doing it wrong.

This video always makes me laugh.

Hi to all,

I have been kiting from start (2011) on a 10m 2011 evo. Everything ok with it, except for the heavy bar pressure (especially on 20+ kn). Looking to change it with a vegas. I think it would be a good choice, as many vegas owners have told me so.My concerns:

*What would be the best size for me? I now have only the 10m evo. Is the vegas low end so much worse than evo's? :?:

*what happens with relaunch? Some say that it is harder, some say that if you pull a meter or so of the 5th, it is easier. Haven't tried 5th line bars yet to discover.
I also cannot understand how some get to rip their kites apart with the 5th line's help. :?:

(weight: 75-80kg, wind: 14-25 kn, boards: 135/39 - 132/41)

Keveine, the 11 is not slow it is really smooth. I had not owned a kite bigger than 9mtr for a few years and did not think I was going to li from riding before. Now I might think 8 and 11 is a better quiver for me. The high end of these kites is amazing so you rarely get blown off them. I don't drop my kite a lot so relaunch have not tested too much.
