6Al 6V-2Sn could be as high as 175,000 psi yield with the right heat treat or as low as 142,000 psi yield if annealed. Definitely stronger.

How much did that cost?

Titanium is expensive and very hard to work on.
Here is the high AR front foil 24 inch x 5 inch x 0.1 inch

If using titanium, there is a big difference from pure titanium (40,000 psi yield) vs aircraft grade titanium Ti-6Al-4V with 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium (120,000 psi yield).

...
And a Good grade of carbon pultrusion processed Rod, it will have an Ultimate tensile strength of 320,000-psi.

Ya GET it ?

Bille: with your knowledge and experience of carbon fiber, you are going to make a great product. Please share with us of your progress.

I almost lost my titanium wing yesterday,
The screws holding the wing almost fell off.
MHL is the only one I know of that mounts the front wing on top of the fuselage.
Most every manufacturer mount it from the bottom to reduce the stress on the screws.
That is a very bad design flaw.

The strut. I put masking tape between the strut and fuselage trying to make the unit disassemble, and disassemble it did..
