Great movie for sure, but please don't show self launching in front of a rocky dam...no go!

Toby,

There are a lot of places that would consider that to be a lot of room for self launching. You might be a bit spoiled with the beaches where you launch.

I would like to see the landing for the jump from 2:52 - 2:55

That beach looks huge, much bigger than what I use to ride!
And been at very tiny launches...would never selflaunch like that.
I have sometimes a line wrapped around something somewhere...people just think they have 100% control...they don't!
I just want to make people aware of the dangers.

You're perfectly right Toby. Remember Gacia Marquez? "Crònica de una muerte anunciada".

Sweeeeet vid

Just an idea, not telling anyone what they should do - launching and landing unhooked is useful in some situations.

tips..

1.make sure kite is tuned so it does not oversheet

2.dont hold on too hard- be prepared to let go instantly you see a problem - if you get thrown unhooked - you shill gonna eat 5hit...

have a real depowering onto one line from your leash kite - none of that mini 5th line, or relying on high kite depower crap.

Thx budd feel safer now! ... lens effect thoz rokz r 800m away... For sure, would be crazy to make it close, but sometimes I can see people riding some really big kite like 16 or 18 sqm dyno something and it's really windy whuuuuuu, I just tell myself it's definitly not safe, and they r really dangerous form themselves and everybody around, even more on DVDs ;D

About that loop, right , I crashed, broke all my bones and I'm painfully writing you from my rehab room jus learning how to use that new cahir which moves each time I'm thinking something :D!!!!! haaaaaaaaa

Keep riding dudes! You won't land much from here
