I agree the count is low, since there are 32,000 members on this forum alone.
Not sure where else they have posted the request for signatures.

Posted to two other forums... support from US based forums with international members but another "local" forum, the consensus seems to be "tough shit got what you deserved, you should police the assholes better." aka I'm alright Jack  BTW not a Japan-forum.

32,000 members - how many are Epic-baiters posting under another name  or PMU avatars :o

After yesterdays kite session at Old Mans I would say there is gonna be more serious problems taking place besides the current complaints and usual kite tangled messes happening. At least 100 kiters out in a pretty small venue. So many complaints about space, kooks and not being able to get a wave without traffic. This is what our kite beach has morphed into. Safety will become a more serious issue at this rate. Need to spread the load somehow.

How about an offshore platform, dock or boat?

About how many windsurfers were out upwind to the east? How well do you think mixing the two groups of riders will work out if they lose access in their normal areas off there?

Usually, necessity forces our hand in kiting. When issues crop up, eventually, we change procedures to meet them. That is if we're still allowed to kite there by that time. I would bring it up with the local association and schools to try to preemptively work things out. It is the job of the rest of us, kiters at large both on island and visiting, to abide by and promote what you folks come up with. Otherwise, things may not work out too well.
