Hey windnwater. Just mention to coastwatersports that you were talking to his brother on here and he'll do you a deal.
Happy days and happy kiting ;)

Both kites fly great and you wont go wrong with either of them, but because of the 5th line on the Rebel, my choice would be the Cab package.

Cheers

Quiver to date:
2009 - Crossbow 2010 11
2010 - Flysurfer 21 dlx
2012 - Slingshot Fuel 2013 9
2012 - Switchblade 2013 12
And now moving to F-one. (2014 or 2013 size 10)

I felt great with Cabrinha, very reliable and safe. They are slow and deploy bar pressure.
I learned to kitesurf with a North and felt they were great too, but I'd say the 5th line isn't for me.
Cabrinha bar pressure gave me epicondilities which I solved without problem.
Slingshot and C kites are not for me so I sold that Fuel 9, I hate below the bar depower, besides I have bad knees for freestyle.

I'm moving to F-one because I want a faster kite. I tested 2013 last weekend and could complain of minor things, eager to test 2014. Didn't like: flapping, tricky setup and the fact of the need of sail pulling bar more often than with 'trucks' like switchblade.

Try them.

Get both in diff sizes.....

I would rather buy a bigger quiver than a brand new kite. Have 9, 12 and 16. Used quite a few brands and I like varieties and versatility of different models. My 9 is 5 lines kite. Love it. Hate it too.

It's like a marriage:)

When you say a near by shop has xyz brand, are you thinking of after sale support? Is this really worth the money for a brand new kite?

PS
Ah, and I make boards. I can ride whatever but it won't make me a better rider. Buy a board which sprays less or no spray at all.
