Hi
I had a 2 hour's session on the 2014 12m Evo today.
Wind speed was between 20 and 27 knots.
The Evo not only looks similar to the Fuse, but it also flies much more similar like the Fuse compare to the 2013 Evo.
The bar pressure is slightly higher than the Fuse. I only kited the Evo on the middle setting. There are now 3 settings where you can attach your flying lines, so if you attach it to the last setting, it might be a tad lighter. The Evo doesn't have those bungies on the wing tips anymore.
The struts of the Evo are a fair bit closer to the wing tip and there is now only one of these supporting sticks attached to the canopy on each side.
The shape of the canopy is almost the same (I stack both kites on top of each other).
Hangtime of the Evo is a bit less than the Fuse.
If you want to get the best boosting kite, get a Fuse quickly before they are selling out. Most stores have them on sale for 30% less than the RRP.
I'm not sure what North's marketing/sale strategy is, but the Fuse boosts a tad bigger and longer, has less bar pressure, the turning speed is the same and except the new big valve there is not much of difference between those two kites.
Below are a few pics. The kite on top is the Evo.
Cheers
