Day 3
Today saw the riders split into three new flight groups labeled Gold, Silver and Bronze. In the first race top riders Johnny Heineken and Riccardo Andrea Leccese kites clashed, knocking them both out of the race, giving Florian Gruber a slight edge in the rankings. During the protests the women's fleet continued their high standards with Erika Heineken leading the way follow by Steph Bridge and Elena Kalinina. With the split in the men's groups we saw some new names pop up in the top three rankings, including Pablo Sola Garcia, Adrian Geislinger, Amil Kabil and Henrik Baerentzen. After protests had finished around about 22:30 the final rankings found men's 1st Johnny Heineken 2nd Florian Gruber and 3rd place Bryan Lake and no change in the women's rankings.
