I can do my last year of medicin studies anywhere in the world and i want to find cool cities with the following criterias:
All year good wind september-june
Spanish, english or german speaking country
Close to a city with a university teaching hospital (almost any bigger city)
also waves for surfing
Right now i found the following places: las palmas de gran canaria, teneriffa, capetown, somewhere in hawaii, tarifa. hope you can help me find a great place
)
Right now i am in gran canaria and it is a great place for kitesurfing although the beaches are very rocky.

Seattle is pretty darn good (especially if you are willing to drive 3 hours to Hood River or Squamish sometimes) and I generally get 100 days on average per year. Wetsuit almost always required though

Servus,
Miami is an overall great city to live. The advantages of Miami towards most cities is the weather and the infrastructure and convenience. Also, you live in a civilized and stable country with all the latest technology(Internet, online shopping etc.) the traffic situation is pretty good too. English and Spanish language recommended. Good food and great ocean with warm temperature. The wind is good from October until Mai, Summer not too great wind though. But in Summer you can easily fly to Cabarete (1.5hrs) where there is good wind. Also great Hospitals and Universities in town and beautiful girls. Not far from Carribean, rest of America and only 10hrs from Europe. 5 hrs time difference to GMT. Airport 15 min. from center and the cost of living is affordable. I can highly recommend it.

Corpus Christi Texas is pretty awesome if you like to kite. We all ride year round and you don't need much more than a 3/2 suit here. We were in board shorts until last week here. We will be in board shorts again in late february to mid march. We have both flat water slicks and waves although the waves aren't Hawaii size or anything. They are fun though. It isn't crowded here either. If there are 10 kites on the water at any spot it's a busy day.

Melbourne.. Australia. It has a big round bay. You can kite on any wind wind direction. Seebreeze during summer, front colds from south\west, warm winds from the north during winter and east at the end of the summer.
37.8136° S, 144.9631° E
Melbourne, Coordinates
