Not all that new at all. Slingshot used it on their original Octanes and Machines.

You are not supposed to have 2-4 when you are on a kite trip.

We did end up with plenty of wind later in the week and Ratama and Kabear were great and very generous hosts. We will be back!

I have seen the articles on The Kiteboarder and Kitemag regarding this new kite type (one strut kite) and seen your post here is really adding to the early bird-eye info.
It would be really cool if some of the guys here who get a chance to take a drive-test on a SOLO will put their personal opinion (not paid, non-biased) so we can see if is any good and worth spending money on it, or is just another kite.
The effort will be greatly appreciated by us the independent riders interested in what's new on the water.
