Hi,
below the impressions of Jay XT Harness with Dynabar.

Significant protection on your lower back with good EVA padding, but without sacrificing the feeling transmitted to the body.
Nice finish and accessories on the entire structure.
Really comfortable and functional smoothness of dynabar with elastic back to the center.
Frontside and backside you have the same agility surfed by conquering many more degrees of rotation on the surf moves, and even strapless freestyle.
Excellent overall resistance of all parts against wear of the sea.
My only correction: to reduce the overall height of the trapezoid to have it even more compact and lightweight.

thanks.
Cheers ;)

Tommy

The best summary is that it's fantastic. Very big relationship between flexibility and rigidity. Many settings for each style. Less lateral tension. Ease of rotation.

The Dynabar is excellent! I started kiting with a seat harness. As I progressed I tried several waist harnesses, but never got on well with them. By adding the Dynabar to a seat harness, you get all the comfort and the freedom of movement that you would not normally get. I have ridden it with all the various setups, but at the moment I’m riding it on a rope with no bungee cord. This gives the maximum freedom. It’s a little strange to start with, but after you get used to it, it’s fantastic. When riding with the Dynabar, it feels like the kite is pulling at your core, not at a place in front of the harness. In addition, it is fantastic in the snow. I doubt I will ever go back to a static setup.

Hi guys, I’ve been kiting with dynabar since last summer and I feel confortable with it.
At the beginning I tried the dyneema rope slider but after a couple of times I switched to the freestyle steel slider. I prefer this solution as I keep in the mean time the advantages of both the fixed and the sliding hook. In fact, when not pulled on the side, the hook remains stable in the middle of the bar. However, as soon the hook is pulled laterally (such as when you are in toe side or are walking on the beach) it slides allowing nice surfing or walking without unconfortable torsion of the body.
Little trick: the bungee should be trimmed at the right length in order to allow the hook to move only when pulled with the right tension.
I haven’t tried unhooked tricks so far, but on my recent trip to Cape Verde (see picts), my dynabar reacted well to very difficult spot with gusty off shore wind!
Best regards to everybody
Stef

Dont let me take this one people, I have some pretty exciting pictures with just a Dynabar on...

So lets add to all the excitement, this is a chance to get a 2 for 1.

Check out this addition to the contest.
