Hello Guys,
After all the good advice i started the mast again.
Final measurments are:
Keel is 910mm long
After tenon (50mm) and board plate (10mm) installed it will be somewhere between 850mm.
It has 22 mm thick and very stiff and probably the extra layers of glass and carbón it will be 24mm.
Dont think it needs the carbón and glass, but it wont hurt better to be on the safe side.
the chord length is 135mm.
i did some torsión on the Keel and it deflects about 5mm., with glass i believe it will be much less.
i took me 5 hours to glue the stock with epoxy and route it.
21 hours loged.
Need some sanding but ill probably leave the ondulation of the routing to give the keel some personality!!! :D
Lots of work to be done!!
I guess some 15 hours more and it will be done!
i will use an old twin tip to install keel.

Looking good, you probably need the same 50mm for the board plate too

Even with a glass it will flex. Unless using a lot of glass (triax) which will make a whole lot too heavy.

I like a bamboo tho. All my boards are made of it.

Just my 2c....

If you use 4 stainless t nuts, you can still use your board when the wind pick up.

how will the chord lenght affect the keel?
is 140mm to long for a chord?
will it make harder to turn?
many speak of 100 to 110mm and 16mm thick
mine is 135mm to 140mm and 24mm thick
this is about 17% of chord
is this good or bad?
what should i expect?
can anyone educate me?

The t nut inserts I buy from eBay, cost about us$0.5 if buy in bulk of 100. Local hardware store sell them for $2 each.
140mm cord is workable, it's the springy bamboo that I worry about. You might have too much resonance vibration. If you can find hardwood, you would be able to make the cord smaller.
