Naish Park 2014 quiver - 6/8/11 or 6/9/12?

I've a quiver of 2012 Park in 8 & 11 meters, and recently added a 2014 6 meter Park. I'm wondering whether I could upgrade my quiver to include a bit more low-end, the 2012 11 meter Park doesn't have the biggest low-end.

Can I move to a 6-9 meter combination for small sizes, without creating too big of a gap? Or should I 'stay' with 6-8 meter in a Park 2014 set?

I might pick up a different kite as my biggest, to get more low-end, but that still would be an 11 or 12 meter kite, don't like it too slow.


I ride in the Netherlands, want to kite in 13-14 until high 30s, both on lakes and North Sea. I'm a free & wave rider, have a 138/41 F-One Trax 8 board, and a 6'0 F-One 2013 Signature.

I do not ride Naish Park. However, my daughter (52KG), she can kite with 4.5 (RPM)/9(Wainman) quiver from 15-50 knot wind range. Therefore I think 6-9-12 is doable.

yeah that is definitely a doable quiver. It is a leap but doable.

Before you make your final decision I would look at which kite is most needed. Don't get a 9 if what you would use the most is an 8.

Both the 2013 and 2014 Parks have better low end, but the 2014 ones are hugely improved for waves and for loops IMO.
I have not ridden the 12, but I have ridden the 11 and have a 10 + 8. My buddy has the 9..he use it in really high winds.

You could consider the 12 Ride2 for great low end. Those kites are very good ligher wind kites, but doesn't loop as well as the park..

Hi. My Naish quiver is Bolt 6 (2012) Park 8 (2014) Trip 10 Park 12 (2014) and Fly 15 (2013). All of them are excellent kites and I can cover all the conditions in my home spot. A "killer" 2 Parks quiver should be 8 and 11.

Taut, in my area loads of people have a 9 meter in their quiver, more than the 8 meter that I have. I'm just wondering whether there'd be too big of a gap between 6m and 9m. Free-riding vs. wave-riding is about 60/40 in time spent.


I'll consider the Ride2 (or Draft?) for the big size later on, first want to make 100% sure if 6/9 or 6/8 Park will fit. Thanks for your help!!!

The range of the 9 is great so I don't think you'll have a huge issue on the overlap.
Draft is not great wave kite..it does go down the line pretty well so it can definitely be done...but it shines and is super fun for free riding and insane for jumping / hangtime. Awesome for learning new tricks..

The 12 does not turn as fast as the Ride but good for a high AR kite...the range is also huge. If you get the 12 you'll definitely have good low end. I've ridden it overpowered too and it is a lot of fun.

Hi. This year the new Park is more powerful that's why I bought the 8 instead the 9. This is the very first time in wich I don't have a Park 9 in my quiver. No regrets about my choice the Park 8 rocks.
