Wow nice video thanks for the inspiration espcially the double backrolls. Also it looks very cold at your spot which makes me feel really silly thinking about waiting for summertime here to get serious about the hydrofoil training it's 78f here today

Nice Peter, thanks for posting.

My new Spotz foil is arriving any day and your video inspires me to try it in these winter conditions too.

 CG

78F ? That IS summer and shorts only, maybe a shorty ha haa :D

(no, I know it is the water also that is important - as I dont kite in shorts either unless it is up around 60-65F and even there at least a shorty is necessary if wind is cold)

It is quite warm here these days though, also on the video.

Air temps up around 40F, some days even higher maybe 45 and no gloves needed, not even a hood most often.
Water is also around 40F now, so pretty okay this winther - and we can ride whenever we want :thumb:

No snow nor ice and no below zero temperatures the last month, so a very mild winther till now

But for learning on a foil, it IS cold, as you will be a lot in the water, both for getting "out" to the deep water, and also because you'll do the "foil bomb" over and over, so you will be cooled down a lot - but awesome to foil so just do it :naughty:

Ha haa, thanks - but I am not riding on the video, and not that good at all yet - still a "beginner foil kook"....

But I WILL be (good), you just wait and see :naughty:
