Hi,
first of all thank you so much those of you who helped me during a rescue friday the 17.th at Dolphin (or where ever we ended up:) )
One guy grapped my board another one dragged me in after I had line failure. Unfortunately I never found my board. I have been up and down the beach and asked at the Best shop if someone dropped it off but without luck.
If someone knows anything about it I would very much appreciate a shout. It is a Seaflight Flying Fish and it should have a sticker with my email on it near the tail. That may have fallen of.
Once again thank you guys for the help.
br,
Jannik

Have you tried posting on ikiteboarding?
Good luck. I lost a board there years ago and it turned up on Gumtree weeks later. It was found by a yacht about 10 miles offshore. Cheeky bugger wanted R1000 "Finders Fee", after I told him I could prove it was my board he was trying to sell. Told him where to go in the end, claimed it on insurance and bought another board....

No I haven't tried that. Good idea.
You won't believe it but today someone took my kite from the beach. I left it along with other kites while I got something to eat. When I got back it was gone. This is turning into an expensive holiday...

That's awful. Sorry to hear that.
Unfortunately seems to be getting more of a common problem (globally). The scumbags have become fully aware how much $ kites are worth and are seeing easy pickings. Forget car guards, we need kite guards!

Wow, that is horrible. Someone stealing a kite off the beach at my local spot! It is the fist time I hear of that happening, and it is a very sad to think that it actually happens here.
I am sorry you have had such a bad time here in Cape Town.

Hi, was it a white directional board? I may have seen it in the water - I saw someone pick it up and assumed that they would hand it in or get it back to the owner.
You can contact me for more info.
