@ DrLightWind :
Since 2002, European law has provided for an unregistered design right. This is a form of protection for designs that automatically comes into existence once the design has been put on the market, or otherwise disclosed to the public, in the European Community. As it is an unregistered right, there is no need to apply for protection. However, as the term of protection is only three years, it is best suited for the protection of products having short life cycles.
More there:

So Taaroa is protected by default inside the E.U. if Mango's wings design is too close from Taaroa's one, he could be in trouble.

@ Mango:
there is still something missing ... where are the informations on the Tbar (mast & fuselage)?!!
Last time I checked, they are still needed to make an hydrofoil!

Hi cookiemonster

Thanks for your opinion ;-) good to see that other people know europeen law ;-)

To DrLightWind : We are working on a new website, i promise that it will be better and all will be translate in english.

I have suggest to mister carafino to make a freeride foil, easy to ride and demontable.
A cheap foil will be a good thing for kitefoil and customer, i'm sure that he can produce a cheap foil in China.

If we won't, Taaroa is still working on it , with a new revolution type of production and will propose a foil at a really good price.

My opinion is that not all kitefoiler want a race foil for competition and actual market need a good foil for beginner.

I will continue to discuss with Mister Carafino to find a good solution for everyone ;-)

Check out the Aguera foil boards. They are 160cm long and looks like 55cm wide with a looooooot of volume as my boards:

To compare this is my latest dirty fat girl 150x60cm

One more advantage of wide ones I found: it's easier to make a tack or a gybe.

How are you and thanks for tuning in.

Carafino does not make stickers. We only make hydrofoils.

I think the competition is getting nervous.
