You sure do ride big. How much do you weigh?Toby wrote:well, I use 95% an 18 sqm kite.
Winds from 12-25 knots, warm air.
I have a 16 sqm kite for winds from 20-30 (warm air).
And a 13 sqm kite for winds from 25+ (warm air)
BUT, I can choose more or less my conditions...I like 15-25 knots...if 25+ I don't want to go out.
This season in Brazil I rode 95% 18...few times 16 and 13. I will travel the Caribbean now and skip the small kites...just take two 18s with me...if the wind is too strong I go work or just watch.
Going for a big air comp in Cayman Islands...let's see if I have a chance against the small kites
I only progress with my 18s...and don't get injured with them. The smaller the kite and the stronger the wind the risk of injuries are getting much higher...and there will not be any progression. My experience. But with now 720 tricks on video I have a big argument
That's a tiny board for a big guy. Does the small board help with keeping edge in with so much power?Toby wrote:94 kg with a 128x38 board
Toby wrote:yes, the more volume/size the harder it will be to edge hard.
Plus the bigger the board the less you can move it around for spins, flips, passes etc
