I have a ticket to Spain that i have to use by April. I was wondering if there is any kiteboarding in San Sebastian Spain coz i wanted to go visit my friend out there. Any help on this matter appreciated.

You most certainly can. The wind in that area can be gusty , in the winter it's storms coming off the bay of biscay. Winds can be very strong ......or non existent

Hi, that´s not San Sebastian/ Donostia .
I think this picture is in Laida-Mundaka.
In San Sebastian, the mountains are to close to the sea and there are not good conditions.
With a car, you can drive 1-1´30 h, to find the wind .
Saludos / Agur

Fohn
You're right it's my Genetrix friend Christophe at mundaca , but as you say it's not far , the mountains are pretty close there too, but there are places. Not the best but definitely possible. You can cross to SW France too, I guess you would need transport tho true.

This below is just my humble but objective opinion.
I was planning to kitesurf during my work-related 2-week staying in the Basque Country region of Spain in nov-dec, too. After observing spanish forums and webcams for a month I changed my mind and just went along the east coast during my travel to Bilbao (Trabucador, Valencia etc). Imho you cannot rely on conditions on the north coast. Surfing yes, kitesurfing no. Even during the winter (so statistically the best months there) conditions are simply too harsh to recompensate these several days of wind (I spent several days near Bilbao and Mundaka anyway because of my work). Kitesurfers activity seems very low there. Another case is east coast: significant amount of people on main spots, even during the winter. Have 4 good sessions although perceptive temperature was something like +2C up to +5C (termometer: 10C) on this nov/dec. Lots of friendly folks there, too.
