Might was stolen and it's never turned up. It just vanished :-(

Pm me pretty please
Might be a bit tricky . . . you live in England and myself in Oz . . . the board is tough as and would make the trip without issue but freight might make it too expensive.

Though my son and his partner are here visiting until Wednesday 5th and do fly back to England on the 8th.

Hey Dude,

it is just funny. At your favourite kitespot many kiteboarders around you are using Spleene gear and they are super satisfied, but you do not miss any chance to post on several forums that your own gear is better, more durable, faster, cheaper, nicer, etc., etc. compare to Spleene products.

Your last posting here is the same.

But it is OK for me, since it looks like you have tons of fun with your gear and that is most important. I like it when people know what they want.

See you next time at the beach. Let´s hope this beach will not be swept away by winter storms!!!

Ciao

I have to say I've ridden both boards, but not back to back. To me the feel and the flex of the spleene felt a lot smoother through chop etc. it's the shaped but thin rails on the main part of the board leading to sharp rails on the tail that I loved on this board. The closest I've ridden to this was a toxic wave, but you can't really ride that as a strapless board.

Max I've friends coming over to the uk in April? But how much would you want for it?

Or Rainer, demo boards?

I do not attack Spleene....why should l? What would be my benefit? I am not selling anything, I am not a dealer....l am just giving the guys the alternative for a board which was not produced anymore.
Secondly l never claimed any of the above''cheaper, faster and all the other words....compared to spleene....you really are or seeing gohsts or smoking something.

My boards for your information are Airush, my kites Switch..of which l never compared to spleene....on several forums???
Do not understand what your problem is .....but it sure is not mine.

Dude :cool2:

Max I've sent you a pm about your board.

You got yours from Ireland? Love to know the little nice person who nicked mine so I can squarely kick them hard in the nutts!

Was dead easy to spot as the bolt had snapped off in the last inset on the back strap :-(

Great news Rainer!

I'm still loving my 5-3 Zone (circa 2007)...bombproof and fun to ride.

To add to my board's legacy...it was stolen in Ireland in 2009 by some gobshites from Limerick, they posted it on eBay and someone here sent up the alarm. A week later the Garda from Clare went and knocked on their door and asked for the board...so then one of my mates got it from the Garda and passed it along to another mate who brought it up to surprise me in Belmullet (Cty Mayo) during a wave chasing event...it was a happy moment for me and all the Irish kiters who helped me recover it and who loaned me boards in the meantime.

The new boards should be awesome.

hey Rainer,

i have both the old zones. For the general choppy area I ride in, the 3 fin 5'3 Zone (159) is more my favourite than the 4 fin 5'8" (174) zone though it has its place once some swell kicks in.

Your new 5'6" looks interesting to me . . . looks like my friend's Nobile Infinity with the full deck eva and shaped foam rails. No doubt the design will be different. Hope I get to see one here in Oz :)

Would love to see any pics of the bottom and the fin setup.
