The bungee cord wore out, luckily I found a replacement in the Ozone bag.

No questions, just Cabrinha seem to have a better hidden bungee system inside the PVC tube. Ozone seem to know this problem, so they place a spare in the bag.

Most brands include a spare bungee with the bar. It's one of the first points of failure due to abrasion.

The replacement bungee cord too short. I think this replacement cord is for the regular bar not for the Racebar. It is shorter by 13 inches. The one from the racebar is about 39inches long, the replacement is only 26inches. I added 13 inches to the bungee cord to make it even

You do realise that the jerry rigged system you have made with the extension will not work, right?
The knot will stop the line from being pulled though the bar and the kite will loop.
