If you think that I should try another board which is better (freestyle, soft landings, etc), please tell me so. It is a lot of money at stake here. :o

I'm convinced that there is no better board for freestyle pop and soft landings. I used to think that a board couldn't have both of those things, but the Laluz does. Don't start second guessing yourself - if in doubt, just try to find a negative review of the Laluz anywhere. You won't.

Been riding xenon for last 2 years. First had 2011 laluz then 2012 and now also have a 2012 infra. 1st session on infra today and gotta say that that thing pops! Landings not as easy as laluz or quite so smooth but fast and poppy! Love it! Gonna be keeping my laluz for choppy days though.
Give xenon a try. Between shinn and xenon they are the mot comfortabe and high preforming boards out there.

Have a 132 2013 sitting in my shed...the day I got it I wrenched my knee on a double back roll invert with tail grab and came in hot and the wrong direction didn't lift my legs!..

So all I can say is the build quality and finish is the best I've ever come across and I've owned and put together many new boards.

But looking at it...such a simple design...I just can't see how it will perform...just looks 'plain'. in outline...?

Nice thining to the tips must admit.Quite stiff flex through the center increasing towards the tips.

Be interesting. Weighs 3.4kg all kitted up. Nice weight .

thanks to all again for your help. I visited the local dealer today (btw he is excellent - Greece) and I returned the 1.32*40. He gave me the 1.35*41 to give it not one, but multiple tries. :thumb:

Anyone find the stace too wide? Really interested in this board but found the stance a little wide on a quick 10 min demo. It was setup on the widest stance (65.5cm). My current board is setup at 55cm so the narrowest stance on the LaLaz is 5cm wider.

I agree - the wide stance is too wide. I'm really tall with long legs, and even I ride on the regular stance. Love this board on the inner inserts.

Funny ya right...inner is enough for me, especially when you duck it out bit as well. Wide was too wide.

The new 2014 is an insane board. I'm only 75kg and holding down bigger kites than my 85kg mates, bites like a bitch, can maintain so much speed, and yet landings are so forgiving, hooked or unhooked.

I've been riding my current board (2012 SS Misfit) for 2 seasons so hopefully I'll ride into the slightly wider stance.

One more question... I'm 75kg 5'8" intermediate-advanced rider, which size? 132 or 135?

135. I'm 2 or 3 kg more than you, but I would only consider the 132 if I lived in a really windy place and only wanted to do big airs (so that I could hold down more kite with the smaller board). If you want to do wakestyle at all or live in a normal wind area where the wind is light at least some of the time, get the 135.
