I tried now the new Pat Love harness, which comes with a new spreader bar.
Be warned, it is a very bad design. I assume their testers used wetsuits and 6 sqm kites with very little power. Otherwise I cannot understand how they could put something like this onto the market.
I had a nice 2.5 hrs session yesterday...and from then I suffer scratches from their new metal lock.
I had to stop my session today where every jump hurt a lot.
And the hook does not sit in the center...it is uneven!
See my scratches, the new lock, and how sharp and big the metal is on the pictures below:

Does the metal piece slide off the pad? From the pic, it is hard to see how the metal would have enough play to slide off the pad.
How could a hook not be centered unless your adjustment straps are not adjusted correctly?
When harnesses are different than the last set up i wore, i find it takes a session or two to get the adjustments dialed in.

Trust me, I am not doing anything wrong there!
The metal scratches thru the padded part...you see how sharp that edge is and how long !
It is NOT centered, since one end has this metal and the other has jus the classic metal eye which is short and not sharp...picture will follow.

the PL sits best for me...trust me, would love to ride something else if it was similar.
Need to test now I guess.
Looking at the picture it looks even like the hook is not straight...
And seeing the spreader bar on the Liquid Force banner I wonder why they made this...it can be done so much easier!

Toby you really should consider a Ride Engine harness unless you like your harness to rotate and rise up. The engine stays put no matter what you throw at it and with the rigid back the force is distributed evenly across your back instead of pinching your sides.

Thats a shame, their old system to me was the best out there. A great lowtech system that worked with sand, mudd or snow....
