Exactly! And I would also add...
The wind range of a 9m is the wind range that you can get out of it. What do you care what others can do with the kite if you can't do it?
I'll try to understand me (I speak Spanish). 6 years ago I sailed, I have had several brands, for 3 years I "slingshot rpm" which had much wind range, much more than the manufacturer says. I have sailed the "rpm" 10 meters with 30 knots when the manufacturer says 25. I've spent a "Torch" 9 meters and just wanted to know who has flown windy, with more than that declared by the manufacturer. Already influencing the weight of rider, board, etc.. Only if someone had that experience to navigate with extreme conditions. Thanks to those who responded reasonably.
now we know what you mean!!!!
you want everybody knows you kept 9 meter with 35 knots!
nobody cares about this proofs ,it is a foolishness and dangerous!
you are at least 10 years late ,it was usual to be overpowered and wait chatters!!!!
buy a smaller kite ,go out ,enjoy ,be careful and if you want to be heard try to write something more interesting.
i've got a 10m and weigh about 75kgs. on a tona pop 138 with boots in flat water i'd say 17-18 knots to 27-28 knots roughly. torch's boost biggg but only in strong winds!

Non sense ! A 9m Cab switchblade has a very different windrange compare to a 9m Naish torch !
not really. you might get 1-2 knots of extra low end. maybe a knot or two of extra high end. more if you don't know how to ride a c kite
a 9m kite is still a 9m kite
Well.... disagree again....i am kitesurfing for more than 10 years and have rided a lot of different kites....I've had a 8m sw cab that had the exactly same low end that my 12 Naish Torch, and lot of more upper end !
So there is case where two different 9m could have only few knots of windrange difference but other where it could be totally different !
