I've had big problems with my ears the last couple of years. Catching ear infections basically on every trip and have also started to develop a surfer's ear. I haven't really been able to find any earplug that worked good until this one, http://surfears.com
Anybody else that had good experience with other earplugs?
Hm, I've used vented and non vented ones...Lost them all.
After number of infections, discovered a white vinegar and water 50/50% + a syringe. Works a miracle
I am mister ear infection,f/*?)*+ sucks!
Helmet helps and good fitting soft ear plugs.
I read up and found this cure, prevention for "swimmers ear"
Mix a solution of half white vinegar and half alcohol pure.
Place 5 drops in each ear for 5 minutes, laying on your side so they stay in.
I did this often in 2013 and first season in 10 years with no trip to the doctor.
Maybe this will help hopefully!
Also if you start to feel head congestion try rhinadvil or similar to decongest.

as I write this I see downunder saying almost the same, so must help.
Make an ear plug thin bunji leash neckless so you do not loose them.
My problem is I get water in my right ear ( goffy foot) and it won't come out until I use cotton tipped swab. Having water in one ear messes up my balance.
I have used several earplugs including EQ seal (zorkies) docs pro plugs etc but they all fall out. I've been using Surfears for the last 6 months and they are the only ones that that don't fall out and you can actually hear what is going on around you.

No problems with infections ; last time they got checked, i was
told to cover them when i went in Any cold, because the bone is growing
next to the canal. It's called swimmers ear ; not a problem Yet, but it's Gonna
be if i don't start using something soon.
I bet i'm gonna Hate not hearing while wearing , (them / it) ; i can tell if i'm gonna need
a kite-loop on take-off, just by the frequency that my Q-power lines resonate at.
Docs Pro Plugs worked for me for the past 5 years. No sound loss or balance issues for me. I feel naked when i forget then at home and go for a session. I loose a pair about every 6-12 months after a heavy wipeout. The price of a replacement pair is cheaper than a visit to my ENT guy. Wearing a dakine indo surf hat helps keep them in as well but I only wear the hat about 50% of the time.
What is the expected retail price of SurfEars gonna be?
I see you have to pledge $70 to get a pair, I could get 4 pairs of Docs Pro Plugs for that
