I feel for you guys down there. Looks like a disaster about to happen at any time.
The botched self launch with the guy directly downwind who had to hit the deck as to not become dismembered...among other things. Yeah, looks real awesome.

For viewers who haven't been to the outer banks, that grass is not soft and is filled with snakes, oyster shells, and whatever crap has washed out into the bay during the storms. Ouch! :D
That's what I was thinking! I've just walked through that stuff and thought it sucked......

Ouch… do I sense some resentment coming from you Mr.Krazedkiter? If so, I am sorry you feel that way.
Any way here is the EPIC CRASHE video in case you did not get the chance to see it. It might bring a smile in you :thumb:

What's a shame is that you are so busy defending yourself on here that maybe you don't get the point. Youre a kite manufacturer and should be working to preserve access, not threaten it. Your little stunt could have gotten us banned from riding the stiltsville flats. That's one of our last west wind spots and only accessible by boat. Our other west wind spot just got banned, signs posted and all. Our other two spots are heavily regulated requiring insurance and iko level 3. Oh, did I mention paid membership mandatory.

See, most people think that we have to worry about the beginner kooks threatening our access. Unfortunately it starts from the top down. Don't get me wrong, I think your one of the most amazing kiters out there and I love your videos and think you have a good product. But you have to pick your places better and maybe do a little research before you go visit.

Too bad Lewis cranthern didn't live. Florida with the pier... Lets face it, it's these stunts that gave us things like the redbull big air... And kiting is only one aspect of people pushing the limits. Agreed that we need to protect areas... But I also agree that it was a full on balls out move... d, were glad you still have yours

It kind of sounds like you guys have a problem holding onto access all by yourself. I am wondering why Fl has has so many restrictions but other places in the US remain relatively untouched. I doubt the beach personalities are that much different from one region to another. I am assuming you have more non-kiting beach pressure at your kiting beaches and they are retired and vocal.

To be amused and entertained, whether you love him or hate him, watch right up to 6:45.

To be shocked and appalled, continue watching to the end.
