Hi guys and girls,
I finally got our first production mast out of the mold. I went testing it on the weekend.
I am really happy with what we have made. Really resistant to ventilation and even less drag than our previous masts.
I cannot wait till we get the new wing moulds!

Just noticing that your water swirl seems high on the strut / mast (mostly 50 to 60% of mast height).

Looks more like 30%
But all jokes aside it is significantly lower than our previous model and if you have a look at some other videos it's way lower than on the sword and makaira, so I think I can live with that for now.

Gunnar
Rides much better than the one I was using two years ago.
What is the hight of the mast now?
The ventilation looks like you have a scratch in that place, as it happens in the same place.
Wonder what was your max speed.

Mounted on a Firewire Vanguard? Surf or kiteedition, which size?
Just coincedent or is there a reason you chose that one instead of one of your own designs? Or am I totaly wrong and it is one of your designs?

This is my own design. Totally different scoop-rocker and construction to the Tomo board.
I use this as it works extremely well as a Foilboard, as it has Volume, Width, Flat Rocker and Beveled Rails in the front. And it also rocks in the Wave without a Foil.

hey gunnar,
i have a suitable surf shape (nugget) for mounting a foil. with the mounting plate on most boards not being flush to the board, does this affect the regular performance at all when not using it for foil?
