Pretty glassy and marginal conditions.

Also check out the Chrono size recommendations.

Nice to see a good kite perform in 10kn offshore wind. Filling up that baby in the beach must have taken a while, but well worth it.

a cheap battery powered lilo pump - have it ready to fly in a couple of minutes - will work even if kite is wet - doesn't need to be high pressure - just high volume

Nice kite, but the wind is not 5 but 6-8 knots. A very big difference. I have seen a 55 kg woman foiling with a 16m Elf kite in 5-6 knots. 85kg in 5 knots no way. Wind power is proportional to the wind squared. So 5 knots have 30% less power than 6 knots and 50% less than 7 knots.

I don't know Bable, this one is dang close to glass: https://vimeo.com/24947580 the sky just wasn't dramatic to show much.

Back on topic. I haven't seen the mostly black with yellow wingtip color of the Chrono before. I prefer that to white -- less likely to get dirty.

Some spots have 0 wind at water level but enough wind at the kite's altitude so trying to guess wind strength by how glossy the water is won't always work. One must have personal experience and knowledge of the spot.
