To me it sounds bad if you loft at 20kn with a 12m kite and it turns big on water. Sign of very bad depower IMO.

Yeah the Speed 1 was a very high AR kite. I had a proto 7m which was so very very thin....

when it came out (production) it was a little less high AR

Same depower as any modern kite. I had full power when i came in and a gust hit and lofted me.
I just let the bar out and i came down.
As I said before windrange for me seems to be from 5m/s-11m/s.
