Open anything and imagine how much time you would need to write a typical Carafino's post. Then multiply it by 69 and don't blame Carafino he did not reply for your emails

Dont know either what my own opinion is on it. I feel most sad for those who have payed money and havent seen a product. Hope everything turn out in a positive way, but with a claimed dead product manager it is already a tragedy, and I feel very sad for his Family. But if this is a lie and no product shows up very sad too. So no happy ending one way or the other...
Hey - I got it. As a sucker for happy endings (dont think dirty now) They find the missing plane. All passengers incl. productmanager are alive. All products are on the plane and no damage and gets shipped. Carafino foil wins Gold Cup in Silvaplanna. And foil into the sunset. Amazing story

...could it be conceivable that the production manager was in transit for a materials buying spree? I do know that some if not all materials used come from china. either way, I'm one of those who have spent the money. I think any day now that I will be getting an email explaining the delay or giving my shipment date. instead all I get is a bunch of well wishers, rubbing it in that I have probably been taken. class less bunch in here....

at no point in time carafino said that any material was lost, this is the invention of the anti-carafino people. He told me yesterday on the phone that he almost have everything to get the shipment sent out. (just missing some bolts) He pulled out my invoice and knew how many units i ordered and he said they are ready.

if you want to contact him, he will be in china next week so he won't answer his calls but you can SMS him and he can call you back with a calling card. If you call him, its usually easier to reach him in the morning(evening in bali)

I got a calling card from rebtel that allow me to call/sms to foreing numbers for cheap.

Rotule, thanks for that piece of info. I've got no doubt the man has a lot on his plate right now. I've not tried to call him as I don't even know where he lives I talked with him once while on a yacht delivering jet skis, and once in Hawaii...I've dealt with many custom things over the years and none were ever delivered on time so this is nothing new. all the criticism from the haters made me think twice...Rotule, thanks!

I'd just like to say that Carafino's offer has paired me with a local legend who shares a dream of foiling just like myself.
This shared experience has opened our awareness of what a possible future could be like for both of us, and is helping build a stronger community.
My heartfelt sympathy for those hurt by the loss of Carafino's key employee and the illness to its founder.
Family comes 1st.

Probably time for Carafino to put its program to rest - so many very good foil brands now producing fantastic product and prices are coming down. Not to mention a lot of great second hand foils for sale.

Hard to break into the Market now, it's really on a fast forward roll to become an explosive race style on the water. A lot of R&D and plenty of $$$ to keep up now. Not to mention keeping customers happy is key factor. short production times and top quality product is a primary objective.

I hope this brand gets product out as it is healthy to have many brands on the market, I'd love to try that curved mast and see how she runs myself.
