Are we more likely to bust a rib kiting Travis or reading this thread.

I commend the work you are doing to manage those Travis numbers but I must say you are going about it all wrong. We are an invasive non native species. We are very thirsty and tend to choke out the competition.

I think you may want to consider Introducing new non native species to compete with the current population.
Some might call it "God's work" but I'm too modest for that.

Your idea is intriguing. The aquanauts take out the pole dancers and the Travis "kiters", then relatively quickly drown themselves out (the half life of an aquanaut has to be around 3 sessions). Also, by definition aquanauts are sterile and will not have reproduced.

It just might work. I would be worried about finding enough aquanauts but the recent influx of californians to Austin means we have a large – and presumably sterile – douchebag population to draw from (based on the number of BMWs and Range Rovers per capita).

I cannot imagine how crazy you would be if you didn't get to kite all the time.

No need to try to imagine more craziness...looks like i am kiting just as much as last year

As far as dedicated i agree with you...lots of work is involved in order to get their fix in those spots

I don't really work hard compared to the Austin Texas crew..they deserve this :winner2:

Way easy where i am
800ft drive to the end of my street for beach
12 min.drive to a river spot when i have offshore winds at the beach

I'll be honest with you SupaEZ, I dream of one day leaving this east vs west kite gang life of Austin and moving to a simpler life in Cocoa. No more cornholings or hydrilla attacks. Just decisions like do I ride the glassy Banana river or go beach side and ride waves today? Then after riding until the sky turns a warm orange glow like only a Florida sunset can do, which of the 15 strip clubs do I hit?
If I was 22 with my life ahead of me that's where I would go. But in reality it's too damn late for me. It's hard to leave once you're living this life. Always strapped, always looking over your shoulder. Will this be the day one of those Travis fools takes me out? Will my homies have my back when it goes down? Can my ass take another cornholing? If I still had my youth and a rectum that had not been violated, I would leave this forum and forget about a place called Austin, 3 1/2 hours from anything resembling a beach. Get to Florida where the sun always shines, the wind is smooth and the girls are as dumb as they are easy.

Not that any of you are teachers specifically.

Houses? I thought you travis guys lived in small thatch roofed hovels, built out of straw with mud and scat plastered walls.

My buddy 14Toeside has been keeping and eye on those last threads about expensive housing
He commented and i quote :
If you are able to afford to buy a house in Austin you can also afford "bar and lines on all your kites"
No stumps about it :shake:
