Thanks for all the replies.

I spent some time hanging from one of my trees simulating kite angles last night in my harness. I had everything attached properly and it still will ride up easy and puts a lot of inward force on the side of my ribs....I think I need to try a seat harness anyway because I can tell this is going to get painful again...probably keep both for a while and see how it goes.

Have you taken a look at the Ocean Rodeo Sessions 2 harness. Its basically a waist with removable leg straps .

4 or 5 seasons on my Mystic seat harness. Not sure hanging from a tree is a good way to check fit, and comfort, maybe for a climbing harness...
