Hi guys
Im new to kite surfing , never done it yet so I need some help
Someone gave me a gunsling prokite 7.5 , its a two line kite but thats all I know
I would just like to know if I could use it to kite surf with , what winds I need , what bar I need , line lenghts and what harness and any other info that will be useful

Don't know that brand but nearly 100 percent sure you should definitely not try to kitesurfing with it. 2 line kite will not have depower and will probably not have a safety system. Kitesurfing is a potentially dangerous sport with people getting seriously injured or killed. You can get a suitable kite pretty cheaply second hand.

Cmon man, put a little effort into learning about kitesurfing. Two line kites have been abandoned for a decade. There are hundreds of training videos online and there is no reason you cant learn a ton watching them.

Take a lesson, you can use the instructor kite and he/she can also give you advise on what type of kite to get.

Watched a few videos on youtube but there wasnt much about 2 line kites and was wondering if I could use it
One other question , I have seen a fourum or two saying you can convert 2 line to 3/4 line , is this possible ?

No. Forget about this kite unless you are looking to risk seriously injure yourself. For a couple hundred dollars you will be able to get something vastly superior on the second hand market.

I agree completely! The fact that you can handle a 2 line kite means that your instructor will have an easier time teaching you kite control. I would highly suggest you take a lesson.

You can use your two line kite to make a nice hammock. That's about all it is good for aside from killing or maiming you.

Hello,
To be honoust. It will not be a good idea to use the 7.5 m for riding. If you want to become a safe and independent rider it will be good to go to a school and learn it properly.

These guys are IKO standard and will make your experience not a 1 day adventure.
It is a great sport.
