The whole thing to me is choose what style of kiting you like. Most people are folllowers so since the industry is pushing wave kiting and strapless most sheep just follow. At my spot in Brasil there are a few guys who go up to everyone they know who is riding a surfboard with straps and tell them to take them off. The guys cant even ride that good and most times fall trying to do these gay transitions they see the pros doing. They are always in the way, they spend more time swimming than kiting and when they see a wave they run. I try to remind them a surfboard is for riding waves not doing ballet but they just don't get it. If they were not in my way so much I wouldn't even care, to each his own. It actually leaves more flat water and waves for me to jump off which is my game. I think for most non kiters big air is the coolest to watch not the other stuff. But I bet the PKRA is afraid that big air would take them over if they supported it. Keep pushing Toby!

No it isn't my opinion, its a fact from someone who is inside the industry and they know the numbers. Light wind isn't a huge market, it is a market that deserves attention, but not big.

hmmm ...since admin will like to respect the request of North and not the request of the users of this forum, maybe a good idea for you is allowed ? try google "north kite juice" and see what appears - you dont have to scroll that much before first hand info is shown.
