Would like some feedback on the 6 vs 7 2014 Airush Wave. 176 Ibs. very efficient rider, windy location. Strapless wave/swell riding only. Would you go 6,9 or 7,9? I've ridden the 9 and can get great low end out of it on a bigger board, amazingly fast pivot with no tension on rear lines. Thanks

I'm 175lbs and have the 7/9/12 quiver. I too thought about the 6 but chose the 7 instead and I am totally happy. I can't see myself on the 6 since I have had the 7 comfy in the low 40's mph.

Were you on a twin tip when it was blowing in the 40's? (just asking since you are from Colorado and I know it blows hard on the reservoirs) I ride strapless on a surfboard always.

Nice, Magnum is a great board... I rode the 5'10" for the last 2 years. How do you like the Cypher?

Stefan,
I'm 85kg and ride strapless wind swell too.I have the 2014 9/7/5m Waves. The 9+7 would be fine, the 5m goes for 35-50+ for me. The 7 is faster than the 9m.
