Cliche Kite Videos
We are getting ready for the Ocean Rodeo Team event starting this weekend at the Outer Banks. Of course we are packing everything we can think of to include a GoPro and a few cameras and mounts. The talk started to veer towards clichés in kite videos, aka the video in the car driving to the spot, walking towards the water with gear under your arm, etc. I was wondering what other clichés you see in kite video? Mostly so we can make fun of them.

You could break the mold and instead of the beginning showing the drive to the spot, you could show driving away from the spot, like a boss, at the end of the video. That would be epic.

yeah with 600 pages of 'sexy kitesurf pictures', it is clear that the hottie pumping the kite/launching the kite has to be parodied. I think a super sized girl in a thong would be perfect to pump the kite. then an overweight hairy old guy in a speedo can launch the kite.

it would also be funny to replace video of the actual pro kiters who rip with the classic 'big talkers' who can't do anything but like to brag on the beach. show a lame move and then let them talk about it on the beach.
I remember a guy who was talking to me on a beach about his kite loops and I remember thinking I didn't see anyone looping that day despite some good wind so watched for him later. Sure enough, he could barely get his fins out of the water in a jump.
