First time on the board, lost the center thruster fin
Just fell out. Now what? Anyone have any leads on where to buy a replacement in the US? Is this common? Should I have used locktite or something?

Normally you do not have to use anything but a phillips #3 to tighten the fin. Was the little spacer on the screw? Anyhow, try
http://www.tridentsports.com . They'll find you a Airush dealer and hopefully you can get a single fin and not have to buy a set. You could also just try a Fin company that makes mini tuttle. The centre fin has no cant, so its just a matter of matching the size and shape
Good Luck.

If not then try
www.ktwodistribution.com
They'll have the listings for what you need there.

Bummer that happened at all, but the first time on the board, that really stinks. I think there are several options to replace that fin. The first is to buy a mini-Tuttle center fin on eBay -- there are some out there. Mini-Tuttle fins are not cheap though, so another choice is the mini-Tuttle to FCS adapters, then buy an inexespnsive, but large, FCS fin. The FCS fin will never be as big as the Carver fin from the original board though -- surface area of the fin determines what type of connection is required -- bigger fins exert more force on the connection point.
They are not always easy to find (pimp alert), but we have one set of tri-fin adapters left.

Thanks,

Thanks guys. You have been a big help! May have found one but they need to know what size bolt I need and my board is not with me right now lol. Anyone know what size bolt I need? They thought 25mm but I have no idea.
Paul
