Urgent Product Safety Alert

Product: Switch Kite Leash (SKU 124-0 & SKU 205-0)

It has come to our attention that in some rare cases, the safety release of our kite leash may become difficult to activate, due to the buildup of sand deposits in the leash sleeve.

Kite leashes manufactured from December 2013 and sold as part of the Controller2 or as a separate product may be affected by this issue.

If you have purchased either a Kite Leash or Controller2 within this period, please read the following information.

What action should you take?

Your safety is paramount to Switch and we strongly recommend conducting a simple manual modification to your kite leash to ensure sand drains away from the safety release. Failure to keep the safety release free from sand and the risk of malfunctioning may cause or contribute to an accident and possible serious injury or death.

To ensure your leash is 100% safe please follow the steps below.

1. On the main menu choose Bars then Controller2 (http://switchkites.com/controller2.html)
2. Click on page menu Manual
3. Scroll to Urgent Kite Leash Safety Alert
4. Watch short instructional video
5. Follow instructions
