Really amazing! Maybe those suspension setups the guys use in the para-olympics snowboard would smooth out the impacts he is taking.

... given that he is continously carving being centered on the board (and doesnt have a heelside / toeside stance), I would suggest a Mako King board as a basis for the construction for maximum smoothness and carving fun...

He mentions in his blog, having to take anti-inflammatories for his back pain.
One possible basis for a suspension system is this seat suspension used for boats. They used to make a lightweight version where the excess weight was machined out of the suspension and there is a lighter weight version of the shock absorber, but the extra weight is not a problem on a boat so they currently only make the heavier and cheaper version.
Suspension might also make kite control easier as absorbing the shocks the board is getting means the bouncing board wouldn't throw his body around so much.
