Of course it is manual carabello trying to stay up on that foil. NOVICE?
See how he can only ride regular heelside, and the camera cuts out every time after the jibe on the H2o, not even a flying one! You also never see him fly toeside regular, let alone goofy heelside or toeside.
As he is for sure is one of the best (or was) big wave rider , regular of course, he has the skill to ride a piece of shit foil, better if over powered, again regular only as shown!
And whats up with the wide bar hand postion, so early days.
How can he claim performance excellent if only judged by a "novice"? W T F
How about a smaller kite?
We use 7m2 in that wind, maybe even smaller if it is a heavy marine wind.
All in all one of the worst kite board hydrofoil videos I have ever wasted my time watching.

Actually, the problem is boat speed, the driver never pulled a foil before, he constantly drifted the boat left, into my side and the rope would become slack. Also the chop from passing boats.

HI Guys, Sorry but I am a Novice with regard to racing. I have never raced in any hydrofoil class event and I have not learned to ride switch stance. So therefore, I am a novice, especially if I were to enter a race. Everyone on the race field is more experienced than I. I am not a Novice with freestyle riding for fun. But to race, yes, I am a novice.

I never claimed the performance was excellent, only exceptional. Have another look.

Did not have a smaller kite friend. Only a 12 on hand.

I have seen worst hydrofoil videos, Please post a hydrofoil video of you riding, I would enjoy to watch it.

The anticipation is so sweet.
Looking forward to that 1st ride

I have been paying close attention to other riders who are just picking up the technique.
The weight forward is a tricky balance point, but critical to finding that slipstream angle of speed.
Keeping track of the board after a crash seems tough at first too.
Sitting on the board until you regain control and relaunch a dumped kite seems to be one of the best ways to keep it close.

OMG this guy is so full of s**t. He claims that the boards performance is exceptional but how would he know he then claims to be a novice who has never raced. As for carafino official policy that it is a privilidge not a right to own one of their products that's just an insult to everyone who has anything to do with the sport manufactuers, suppliers, customers, competitors organisers of events particularly those involved in the sport that want to make quality kit and do the R&D trialing their products and having teams of pro riders to move the sport forward.

Nobody actually gives a shit if he can ride or not though. His credibility in this area has already zero. People like me just want to know when the goods they have paid for taking a huge gamble given the lack of technical specification and history of poor quality will actually turn up.
