Kiters loving the SURF 12M.
After kiting for 2 hrs in the flat water my son and I decided to go and check the waves. So when we got there, it was blowing (13 to 20 mph) with a very strong current. So kiters on the beach were telling me to put a big kite and not to go with an 8 meter kite because of the strong current. I knew better and should not of listen to any one. So I rigged the SURF 12 and went out and told my son to wait on the beach so I can check what kite he should take. Guess what!!!! I was way over powered on the SURF 12m, but was able to manage it. I should of taken the SURF 8 for sure. Other kiters were out on 10 & 12m kite but on twin tips. So I came out of the water after 40 minutes and told my son to go out on the SURF 5 and I will take pictures of him. So while I was taking pictures of my son, few kiters saw the SURF 12 meter seating on the beach and asked me if they could try. I told them they were going to be over powered but none of them cared.
Conclusion one of the guys came out of the water 20 minutes after trying the SURF 12 and told me how nice and fast this kite responded but he had too much power on a 12 meter. So then another person took the kite and went out. This is the last time I saw my kite. This guy did not want to come out. So I had to leave but sent him a text message. (see bellow).
So I hope to get my kite today or tomorrow.

This is one of the reasons why you need to demo the SURF kite and see it for yourself what this kite is capable of.

Had such a good time with the 8m yesterday, I cant believe how quick I can switch directions. Also I accidentally had the tip of the kite skimming across the water, the design really seems to keep it from catching the water so it doesn't crash. Great job with this kite! I'm having a good time with it.

I finally got to have some more time with the 12 m. surf kite. Today was chest to head high surf. The wind may have been 15 to 20 mph, Im not 100% sure but it was a little light. It was a good time. I usually hate going up a kite size but this kite seems so much more like a smaller kite when turning, I don't mind at all. So whether its the 8 or the 12 I am just as excited. Great job with this one too, I like it just as much as the 8. Im ready to go again.

Nice photos, sounds like each size is working great. The 5 m is the only one I have not tried, its good to hear more about the kite. I'm pretty settled that its my new favorite.

What an epic session this morning. Woke up at 6 am, replied to some customer's email plus factories and then went in the ocean at 7:30 am for a down winder. I used the SURF 8M with the REEF 5'7" surf board. Others were on the RENEGADE 9 and the SURF 8M.

The good thing about it is that my lovely wife was still sleeping when I got back home at 9:20 am with some coffee for her. So in few words she things I went to get her some coffee and has no idea I went kiting, but was wondering why the bed was wet.
:naughty:

I actually had an Epic morning with my 8 m. Surf Kite also. That kite is so responsive.

The throw on that bar is much smaller than I would want for a surf kite...
