The board has been put in the wet by a mate who had a day off this week (hence the wax on the deck)
He was impressed by the light wind ability, going upwind effortlessly when others with regular surfs were struggling. Condition was 15-17 knots, flying a Naish Pivot 10 (very nice kite as well, I am currently waiting for a couple of Pivot to arrive
), he is 80kg.
Due to the TT/Snowboard construction he suggested me that for a better comfort a full deck pad would be a better option than wax. I will decide after a few run with the board.
Currently questionning myself how this board will fit in my quiver. Will it be my main board as reported by some on the forum?… will it be a complementary board for light wind days and shallow spots only? … will it be just a backup option when traveling to exotic spots (in complement with my Vanguard 5'4 which I love). Time will tell..
Phil
