Zeeko bhoot 2012

Postby dzincha » Sun Jul 06, 2014 6:58 am

Is this board ok for light winds? Heard that it is good for chop/waves.
Any opinion are welcome.

@dzincha
The early models and the new 2014 are great in light winds as they are in chop and surf.
Depending on your weight and riding skills Zeeko BHOOT 137X42 is an excellent all-round board.
Here's some more info on the older and 2014 models:

@dzincha
The Bhoot is not the best board for light winds although it's more of a freestyle board it does pretty good, a real light wind board would do better.
The board does very well in chop, waves, hardly gives spray and has a very nice pop for tricks.
If the board does well in light wind also depends very much on your weight and the size of the Bhoot.

What is your weight and at what size are you looking at?

Thanks for answers.
Got 137 and i am ~72kg.
Tested twice - through chop going smooth, jumps well, low end enough for a twintip.
Only thing that pads outer side is pressing against legs small finger and this side is not on soft side as it is on LF pads. Maybe need to push it in deeper or just get accustomed.

137 is a perfect size for 72kg if you want a good low-end! :thumb:
You should try to take the strap loose and move it all the way to the outside of your foot.
This should be more comfortable.
I really like the pads and straps, the 2014 pads and straps are even more comfortable.
