dont put pressure in the bladder one way to make sure the patch is perfectly flat is to get a flat board or an ironing board and clothes pin the four edges around the hole on the bladder to the board, this will ensure a perfectly flat bladder when you apply a patch

Might be the most practical solution when you are down to a super slow leak.

Had to laugh when you mentioned baby powder. I was able to seal the end of a leading edge blowout with the old pencil and iron...pure luck by the sounds of it. I used that much baby powder that my black and white dyno 2011 looks all white...I'm calling it my cocaine kite. Lol :D ...and I'm sure with those thin bladders used on the dyno that baby powered is hopefully sealing those micro leaks as mentioned above...
