Hi guys,
I'll have the final week of September to go somewhere around North America (flying over from down under and traveling around the first 3 weeks) to go somewhere to kite.
I've come up with Cabarete, Cape Hatteras and Hood River as viable options as of now. Are there any other windy and affordable options around that time of the year? If so what do you recommend and if not which out of the 3 places is the best choice to you?
Cheers

Got another question for you:
If I fly out of Santiago on Sunday the 28th at 7pm do I have to make my way to Santiago Saturday night and hang around at the Airport or get a Hotel there for the night or is there a viable transport option at 3.30/4 in the morning on a Sunday from Cabarete? I assume check-in is 2 hours before departure, right? Asking so I can book my hotel accordingly.
Thanks, mate!

Hey if you are flying with a surfboard (just in case you are) I don't think you can fly into Santiago from the the states. Check the luggage conditions. Fly into puerto plata if you can for cabarete.

Thanks for the warning, appreciated! I'm however only traveling with a normal suitcase and either a golfbag or a second suitcase (for the kites if I decide not to bring my own TT but rent instead). Also it's already booked
it was significantly cheaper, even adding in cab fares etc.
