Foil kites and LEIs have their own advantages and disadvantages.

There is a partnership between ELF and North, so that North can put their logo on Elf kites.

Flysurfer must be kicking themselves.....all those years being virtually the only foil kite on the market and then now you only see elf and chronos' in the racing...

Flysurfer make a great product. But their development time is waaaaaay to long. They have dropped the 8 ball and let others into their usually exclusive market segment.

On a side note. FS will still benefit as it will now be cool to fly a foil.

Flysurfer Speeds are not meant to be race kites, but easy all-round kites, with huge wind ranges, Riding the speed 4 18m in 16/18knts or the 12 in 25knts is pure pleasure; that would be another story with a chrono. You lose some speed and upwind ability, but that's the price to pay for more fun and comfort.

FS and chrono/elf higher ratios cannot compare. We may see an higher ratio FS in a year or two, since we spotted some prototypes in Europe, then we'll have something to compare.

Is Skywalk the parent co. of Flysurfer ?
If so then they got a PG that could have an easy MOD to turn it into a race kite ; it's
the , (Poison-3) and it has 69 cells with an AR of nearly 7. The small one is 22 M.

All it would need, is the ability to Float ; maybe also make it with a lighter material
and reduce the bridals cause it's Way too strong for a water kite.
