Hello,
I just saw the foil made by Horue made for both wind surf and kite boards.
Looks like a winner!
It is owned by a good friend who will use it only for windsurf so we will not be able to test with kite because the tuttle is very deep.
It looks VERY well thought out and built!
Another friend bought an old caraf first generation and wanted us to test fly it to see what we thought.
With out any doubt the worst foil we have ever tested, including many home made.
We think this has to do with strut and wing profiles. and being so thick everwhere! As for weight, so heavy!
So much drag and vibration, what a P O S!
This is the third one we have tested and all are so worthless!
It is amazing that the sport took off with this as the first commerically available kiteboardhydrofoil.
Thankfully some smart guys applied hydrodynamic principles to provide us with something that works well! :thumb

Hawaiss had an old Carraifino that he likes. I've only read one comment about the newest Carrifino available---it said it was solid but that it has lot's of vibrations. That's kinda what you said
